WHO
WE ARE

The Animal Union was founded in 2023 when young bulls in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales couldn’t be rehomed to existing sanctuaries due to all of them having a lack of funding and/or limitations with accessing resources. There are other reasons, explained under our current programs. With determination to not let these little guys slip through the cracks of the rehoming system, The Animal Union was formed. With a focus to not only assist financially with foster farms (care), but with forever farms (homes) as well. Sadly, foster and forever farms may not be an option if timing and other factors don’t align, so The Animal Union land will be renting land, so there is always a sanctuary or sanctuaries for the farmed animals to be safe.

With floods, bushfires, droughts and other natural disasters a heartbreaking reality to be prepared for, money raised will also be allocated to a natural disaster emergency fund. All farmed animals fostered and adopted will be protected from slaughterhouses. There will be contracts in place that state the adopted animals cannot be sold back into the animal agriculture industry.
